Software giant Microsoft says it has invested a fresh $75 million in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and other African countries.
The President of Microsoft International, Jean Philippe Courtois, disclosed this in Lagos during a visit to the country this week. He added that the technology firm planned to boost
internet access by people across the globe through smart device production.
While acknowledging various government support for Microsoft’s growth in Nigeria, he noted that aside from the fact that the country is blessed naturally, it has abundant skills deposits, and he urging the country to tap fully into the available skills to develop its digital economy.
